Fremont Street: Experience Las Vegas Best Shows

In the very heart of Las Vegas downtown, the traditional and characteristic Fremont Street Experience takes place every day. Famous all around the world, Fremont Street Experience is home of Viva Vision, the biggest screen in the planet. Its a free show, open to the public every night. It consists of screen towers 90 feet above the pedestrian mall. On Fremont Street Experience, you can also find ten legendary casinos, more than 60 restaurants and thousands of loose slots.

Fremont Street has been an integral part of Las Vegas and its community since 1911, when the city was incorporated. Ever since, Fremont Street has witnessed most of the important events: in 1925, the first street to be paved and the first traffic light, in 1932, the first elevator at Apache hotel, in 1956 the first high rise at the Fremont hotel. Furthermore, the first gaming license was issued in 1931 to the Northern Club at 15 E. Fremont Street.

Among the several attractions that visitors can find on Fremont Street, there is the Pedestrian Mall, which was created when the vehicular traffic was permanently closed in September, 1994. An interesting fact about this mall is that when the sound and light shows are not being presented, numerous concerts-quality music are played continuously. Another attraction is the Marketplace on Fremont Street, which offers a wide variety of retail carts, and shops, which are located throughout the entire mall area.

There is no reason not to visit Fremont Street and experience one of the most enlightened and exciting shows in Las Vegas. If you are in the City of Light, spend at least a couple of nights in this adventurous place.
